I know what it's like to walk into a yoga class that is unwelcoming, confusing and not effective. But, something called me to deconstruct today's yoga where I found a wide variety of mind, body, spirit, "yoga-like" paths including African-born Kemetic yoga. And, as someone who is proud of my mixed-race Puerto Rican heritage, which in my case, includes African heritage, this finding made me feel a stronger connection to my ancestors through my practice.
I am committed to providing a safe, inclusive space for people to explore and share the mindful movement roots of their ancestors.

As a person who has had to manage my way through lots of trauma from early childhood through adulthood, with a diagnosis of Crohn's disease at age 19, I’ve learned that movement is my tool for trying to get back to balance.
Through decades of all sorts of therapy and studying movement/fitness, nutrition, mindfulness, meditation, brains and neuroplasticity, I want to share amazing tools that have helped keep me moving and moving well.
Certified Yoga instructor, Z-Health neural movement practitioner (Levels
R,I,S,T), personal trainer, running coach.

Over a decade of trail/ultra-running (with podium visits and lots of top 10 at the 30k, 50k, 50miler and 100k distances) and before that 14 years of of competitive rugby had created a beat-up body. The pandemic introduced slowness and a timely menopause, where I welcomed yoga, meditation, art and family into a whole new being. Sure, rugby and ultra-races are hard, but, have you tried entertaining a 2 year old and a 5 year old for like 11 hours a day? Hard takes on a new meaning.
I have found that the endurance skills for sport have been transferable to parenting and want to help others find a state of balance amidst the chaos of life.
